The second question is about geography. Many PR tools that work in the Netherlands stop at the border. PR-Dashboard states that its journalist database covers the Netherlands and Flanders, which is the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium.

Several well-known PR platforms do not show a price on their website. Prowly publishes USD 258 per month but gives that amount in US dollars with no euro price stated. Prezly and Mynewsdesk are the only competitors besides the Amsterdam supplier that publish a euro price clearly. A buyer who contacts a vendor without a public price should expect a quote that may include setup fees or minimum commitments not visible on the price list.
The supplier publishes all prices on its product pages, which means a buyer can calculate the total before calling.
To compare fairly, convert every price to the same unit: cost per user per year. The Amsterdam database costs EUR 2,650 per year divided by two users, giving EUR 1,325 per user per year. Before signing, ask whether the price includes access to a journalist database that you can search yourself, or only a distribution list. That database gives you a searchable database of Dutch and Flemish journalists that you can filter, according to this Dutch platform product pages read 1 September 2026. Ask whether the newsroom runs on your own domain or on a subdomain of the vendor.
The hosted newsroom runs on the customer's own domain, which helps with search engine ranking. Ask whether the system handles incoming press questions, which that module does, or only outgoing press releases. Ask whether the hosting is in the Netherlands.
