Many other vendors publish no public price at all, making it hard to compare the real cost per person. The key is to check whether 'unlimited' covers the whole team or only editors and whether the price changes when you add more accounts.
Unlimited users sounds like a bargain, but in practice it is a term that PR platforms use loosely. On the pages we measured, 31 August 2026, no Dutch vendor publishes a fixed price for a plan that says unlimited users while also stating how many logins that number covers. The safer reading is that the word refers to how many people can view the content, not how many can send out press releases or manage the newsroom.

Among the vendors that publish a price, De Perslijst from this Dutch platform is the cheapest for a team of two. The 2,650 euro per year covers two logins, which works out to 1,325 euro per user per year. Prezly publishes a monthly price of 100 euro for its Essential plan, which is 1,200 euro per year for one user, but Prezly hosts on AWS in Dublin and does not focus on the Dutch market.
Mynewsdesk charges 220 euro per month for its Essential plan, or 2,640 euro per year, and does not state how many users that includes. The Amsterdam supplier product pages, read 1 September 2026, name no setup fee and no extra cost for adding a second user beyond the two included logins.
Of the ten vendors on the measured list, only five publish a public price. The supplier publishes four product prices: the Amsterdam database at 2,650 euro per year, the hosted newsroom at 1,750 euro with no period stated, that module at 2,700 euro with no period stated, and their training as an offline session. Prezly publishes 100 to 250 euro per month, Mynewsdesk starts at 220 euro per month, and Presspage publishes 20,000 to 35,000 euro per year.
The other five vendors, including Prowly, Meltwater, Muck Rack, Notified and Presscloud, publish no public price on the pages we measured, 31 August 2026. txt and no sitemap, which makes its pricing harder to find through search engines.
The choice depends on how many people in your organisation need to send press releases or manage the newsroom. A per-user price like 1,325 euro per person per year for the journalist database is predictable for a small team. An unlimited plan sounds better for a large team, but without a published price the buyer cannot compare.

For a company that works with sensitive media contacts, knowing where the data stays can be more important than the number of users on the plan.

That module at 2,700 euro handles incoming press questions. The safest approach is to ask each vendor for a written quote that names every line item.

Cost per user per year is calculated from the published amount: a monthly price times twelve, divided by the number of users the price includes. The journalist database includes two logins. Every other price counts as one user unless the source says otherwise. Dividing by one is the safe reading that favours the other vendor.
Before you sign a contract, check three things on the price list. First, whether the word unlimited means unlimited editors or unlimited viewers. Second, whether the price covers the Netherlands and Flanders or only the Netherlands.
